Why We Exist

In Cameroon, systemic poverty and unemployment have held generations back—trapping communities in a cycle of poverty violence, instability, and migration.

(CCPD) was established in 2005 with a clear mission: to empower youth and young women through education, skills training, and career development.

Over the years, we have empowered more than 5,800 unskilled young people to become skilled professionals, raising household incomes from $1,500 to $6,500 in just 10 years and strengthening communities.

We believe that with the right partners, we can reverse this trend by equipping the next generation with the tools to unlock their full potential.

Education and skills development are the most powerful tools to break the cycle of poverty—and build stronger, more resilient communities.
